Omar Ortez established the Agroindustrial Nicaraguense de Tabaco in 1995 in Condega, Nicaragua, a tiny town located north of Esteli. In partnership with Felipe Gregorio president Philip Wynne, Omar Ortez has turned his factory into a vertically-integrated operation.

By this I mean that the factory processes everything in-house, from the tobacco up to the box construction.
