Cigars - Cruzado Cigars

The creator of the acclaimed Honduran Illusione cigars is launching a new line of cigars in 2008 called Cruzado. Dion Giolito describes the flavor profile as medium to full with complex spices atop a body of leather, earth and a general creaminess.

The sizes are centered around the high forties (ring gauges) which complement the complex flavor:

Dantes (5 x 48), Avalitos ( 4 x 46), Marios (7 x 47), Marelas (6 1/4 x 52; Perfecto), Elitas (6 x 44), Domenicos (5 5/8 x 46).

Early samples taste uniquely Nicaraguan with strong Cuban influences. The official launch will be at the IPCPR show in Las Vegas during the summer. The cigars are blended by Dion and rolled at the Joya de Nicaragua factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
